Can You Reheat Burger? 🍔

⚠️ Yes — with precautions

Ground beef must reach 165°F — patties are higher-risk than steak because grinding mixes surface bacteria throughout. Always reheat to 165°F internal, verified with a food thermometer.

How long does burger keep?

Refrigerated at or below 40°F in an airtight container, burger keeps about 3 days. If it has been at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), discard it — reheating does not undo unsafe storage.

Can you reheat it twice?

Not recommended for burger. Each pass through the 40–140°F danger zone adds risk, and quality collapses anyway. Portion out only what you'll eat, reheat that, and leave the rest cold.
