Can You Reheat Shrimp? 🍤

⚠️ Yes — with precautions

Seafood must reach 165°F when reheated, and should be eaten within 1-2 days of cooking. Reheat once only — if it smells off, it is off. Always reheat to 165°F internal, verified with a food thermometer.

How long does shrimp keep?

Refrigerated at or below 40°F in an airtight container, shrimp keeps about 2 days. If it has been at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), discard it — reheating does not undo unsafe storage.

Can you reheat it twice?

Not recommended for shrimp. Each pass through the 40–140°F danger zone adds risk, and quality collapses anyway. Portion out only what you'll eat, reheat that, and leave the rest cold.
