Can You Reheat Ham? 🍖

⚠️ Yes — with precautions

Reheat pre-cooked ham to 140°F, or 165°F if it was combined with other foods. Honey-glazed hams scorch easily — keep the heat low. Always reheat to 165°F internal, verified with a food thermometer.

How long does ham keep?

Refrigerated at or below 40°F in an airtight container, ham keeps about 5 days. If it has been at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), discard it — reheating does not undo unsafe storage.

Can you reheat it twice?

Not recommended for ham. Each pass through the 40–140°F danger zone adds risk, and quality collapses anyway. Portion out only what you'll eat, reheat that, and leave the rest cold.
